Illinois Disclosure
In accordance with the Illinois Student Debt Assistance Act, the Financial and Physical Hardship Withdrawal Policy establishes procedures to assist students enrolled in one of Pacific College of Health and Science’s online programs or Illinois campus in limiting their debt when a physical or financial hardship requires the student to withdraw from their coursework in any given term.
To begin the application process, the student must contact their advisor to discuss their request. The advisor will assist in completion of the Physical or Financial Withdrawal Hardship information on the withdrawal form.
Covered hardships include:
- Serious injury or illness
- Chronic illness
- Medical issue of a family member in which the student must become a part-time or full-time caretaker of that family member
- Mental health condition
- Sudden or consistent lack of transportation issue
- Significant cost of living increase
Consumer Complaints Process
Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS) has an established process for handling complaints and concerns from students and prospective students. The complaint process is outlined in detail in the College’s Academic Catalog. In most cases, complainants should first attempt to resolve their concerns with the individual(s) most directly involved. Students and prospective students may take their concerns to a Complaint Administrator at any time by emailing [email protected].
PCHS strives to resolve student complaints and grievances within the College. Students not satisfied with the final disposition of the complaint process may file a complaint with the College’s accreditors and the relevant state authority in which the student resides. Below is a list of contact information for all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. This information should not be construed as informative of what agencies regulate Pacific College of Health and Science or in what states the College is licensed or required to be licensed.

Distance Education Students
Pacific College of Health and Science is approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA). The College has reciprocity with other SARA states for its distance education programs. Please visit the for the most current list of participating states and a detailed description of SARA.
PCHS distance education students based outside of New York State who have a consumer protection related complaint regarding a distance education program should first seek to resolve such a complaint within College. Note that complaints regarding grades and general student conduct issues are not governed by this distance education complaint process.
If attempts to resolve the complaint and a subsequent appeal are unsatisfactory, a student residing in a SARA states/territory may appeal the complaint to the SARA State Portal Entity in New York within two years of the incident about which the complaint is made.
