Pacific College Job Announcement – Nursing Admissions Coordinator – New York Campus

Pacific College is seeking a motivated and positive individual to join our Nursing Admissions team as an Admissions Coordinator at our New York campus. This position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2–3 days per week on campus. Saturday availability (2x a month) is required to support student testing.

General Job Summary:

The Admissions Coordinator provides administrative support to the Admissions Department and ensures accurate database management, timely communication, and organized student records. This individual will represent Pacific College with professionalism and a can-do attitude while working both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

CRM Management / Admissions Support:

  • Primary focus on CRM database management
  • Collect and upload admissions documents
  • Conduct file audits and track document submissions
  • Prepare weekly reports and monitor applicants’ progress
  • Send acknowledgment letters and maintain communication with applicants
  • Update applicant statuses and create communication templates
  • Make outbound/inbound admissions calls during high volume
  • Maintain inventory of admissions supplies and promotional materials
  • Calculate Grade Point Averages (GPA)

PBSN Proctoring (On-Site):

  • Proctor TEAS exams on-site multiple times per week, including some Saturdays
  • Greet and manage test-takers, explain procedures, and ensure compliance
  • Advise students post-test on their next steps

General Support & Campus Involvement:

  • Participate in campus cleaning and organization
  • Conduct campus tours and assist with nursing program events
  • Oversee onsite Federal Work-Study (FWS) students
  • Manage the admissions inbox
  • Order, organize, and distribute admissions materials

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preferred: Familiarity with PowerPoint, Skype, and mail merge
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Professional, team-oriented, and adaptable attitude

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at a desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor. A dedicated workstation is required for remote work.
